Parent and Me Horse Social
Service Description
This is a social event where we get to interact with the horses (on the ground) and with other parents and children in the community. This is an opportunity for bonding with one parent and one child. Each pair is $25. There will be no more than 3 pairs allowed per social. Children aged 0-14 are allowed. Each parent is responsible for their child during the entire session and as such this is not a babysitter experience. This is an opportunity to bond with your child in the healing/safe space that horses provide with prompts from your guide, Katie Rose. In your social session, you get to pet, groom, feed and interact with the horses either over the fence in the barn or in the field depending on comfort level (this will be determined upon arrival). During the social, you will be taught safety around horses, fun facts about them, and an opportunity for you and your child to feel what is like to be in their presence. Again all on the ground (no riding allowed). For families of 4, simply sign up each pair separately. For families larger and looking for a private space to experience the horses, please contact us for pricing and availability. Each child MUST have their own guardian in order to participate. All participants participate at their own risk. No prior horse experience necessary.
